We have been using gluconite for many years. It is a special, tacky grease with silicon components used in machining parts with hi-temp survivability. Traditionally, it could not be filtered so it ended up congealing and sticking in bottom of tank with metallic particles. It would break down our cleaning fluids. Once a year it would have to be manually cleaned out. With the Separ8or centrifuge, the gluconite is effectively filtered out of the cleaning fluids before reaching the tank and captured. We have no more contamination in holding tank. We have a service contract with Zepp and the Separ8or unit provides substantial monthly savings. Now the Boeing Sparr unit has also requested a Separ8or. Under heavy operating conditions, Separ8or requires much less solvent than before.
